so my favourite place in alaska is this mountain pass called hatcher pass. it’s midway between anchorage and talkeetna, and there’s a long-cut which takes you right through it which i drive whenever i have an extra hour. i never remember a tripod, though; i took this with the camera balanced on a rock.
