this was a perfect night. i was sleeping without a tent, on a horrible foam groundpad, on rocks. i woke up in the middle of the night (because rocks) and looked up and saw this. i flopped around in my sleeping bag until i found my camera. i didn’t have a tripod, so i propped it against a rock and set a 20 second timer and immediately fell asleep. in the morning i discovered i’d taken this shot.
